James Jakes

Lemac would like to give you an update on the progress of our budding young racing driver as he participates in the F3 Euroseries for 2008. The F3 Euroseries is where you will find some of the planet’s best young racing drivers all competing for the chance to showcase their skills on the world stage. They hope to catch the eye of Grand Prix team bosses and earn themselves a drive with one of the big teams, possibly following in the footsteps of Lewis Hamilton who progressed through the same championship.

Lemac has been with James Jakes almost entirely through his career from when he first stepped up to professional racing in 2002. This year sees James’ second year in the F3 Euroseries with him picking up his first win of the season at a difficult street circuit, Pau, in France on the 1st June. This win has helped Jakes to 12th place out of a total of 34 ambitious young drivers in the championship. His win helping his team, ART Grand Prix, a French team to lead the team championship by a significant 11.5 points.

Lemac would like to wish him well for the remainder of the season and hope he continues to do as well in the future.
